A. N. Whitehead (1861–1947) is widely regarded as one of the most significant scientists, philosophers and thinkers of the 20th century. His philosophical work has had a profound impact on the development of philosophy in almost all of its areas. Actually, the sheer breadth and influence of his philosophical contributions is such that it is almost impossible to enumerate all the areas of philosophy that have been influenced by him. His concepts possess a historical evolution and are in a perpetual state of development, particularly within the context of contemporary Whiteheadian scholarship.
Whiteheadian philosophers do, of course, investigate and develop further Whitehead’s legacy, and it is thus advisable to probe these contemporary assessments of Whitehead. The present volume aims to do just that. In order to do so, the book is divided into four parts: (1) General concepts and basic skills in education; (2) The future of education; (3) Arts and ethics; (4) Community, medicine, psychology, AI.

Dr Vesselin Petrov holds an MA in Mathematics (1977), a PhD in Philosophy (1989), and a DSc in Philosophy (2011).
