Robert Stojanov specializes in relations among migration processes, environmental change and development, and effectiveness of development interventions. He is the author of the monographs Development, Environment and Migration: Analysis of Linkages and Consequences (together primarily with J. Novosák; 2008), Development Assistance in the Light of Practice: Selected Linkages and Aspects (2008) and co-author of Approaching The Other: Four Projects of Western Domination (2008). Robert has conducted field research dealing with climate (environmental) change, and migration and development consequences in China, East Africa, East Europe and South Asia.

Jiří Novosák is concerned with migration and development at various geographical levels. He is the author of the monograph Shaping the Development of Developing Countries: Focused on China and India (with R. Stojanov; 2008).
