Dr Padmaja A Shenoy, MD, is an Associate Professor of Microbiology at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India, with more than twelve years of experience as a Clinical Microbiologist. Her primary research area is anaerobic bacteriology, with a focus on their antimicrobial susceptibility profiles. She has been published many times in national and international journals highlighting the importance of anaerobes.

Dr Aruna Poojary, with 19 years of expertise in Clinical Microbiology, Infection Control, and laboratory administration, serves as the Laboratory Director at Breach Candy Hospital Trust, Mumbai, India. Her interests focus on antimicrobial resistance and infection control, and she has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications nationally and internationally.

Dr Om Prakash is Deputy Head and Associate Professor at Symbiosis Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability (SCCCS), Symbiosis International, (Deemed University), Pune, India. He has obtained a PhD in Microbiology, serving as Elected Chairman of the Subcommittee on Methanogenic Archaea of the ICSP-UK and has 18 years of experience in handling anaerobes.
