Dr Muhammad Sabar is a leading rice breeder at the Rice Research Institute, Kala Shah Kaku, Pakistan, specializing in the development of high-yielding and stress-tolerant rice varieties. With extensive experience in conventional and molecular breeding, he has contributed to the genetic improvement of rice for enhanced productivity and resilience. His research focuses on marker-assisted selection, hybrid rice development, and improving grain quality traits.

Dr Sana E. Mustafa is a plant breeding and genetics researcher at the Rice Research Institute, Kala Shah Kaku. She has completed her PhD from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), Pakistan. Her work centers on rice germplasm evaluation, trait mapping, and the application of molecular tools in rice improvement. She has published research articles in peer-reviewed journals and actively contributes to breeding programs aimed at developing climate-resilient rice varieties.
