S. Serhat Serter graduated from the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Cinema and Television of Anadolu University, Turkey, in 1996 and has been working as an Associate Professor at the same department since 2017. He is the author of several journal articles, as well as two books on contemporary Turkish cinema and Star Wars.
