Michael A. Moreno, MFA, is a Washington, DC-area writer. He has taught first-year writing, research writing and business writing at American University, University College University of Maryland, and the Bard College Clemente Course in Humanities at the Latin American Youth Center. He earned his MFA in Creative Writing from American University and his scholarship, teaching and creative work focus on identity, disparities, and racism.
Kathryn Quinn-Sánchez, PhD, is a Professor at Georgian Court University, USA, where she teaches courses on Latin American and Latinx literature, culture, and the Spanish language. She earned her MA from Middlebury College and her PhD in Romance Languages and Literatures from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She has published several articles in the field of literary criticism, authored two books and edited multiple essay collections. She won the Virginia Graham Excellence in Teaching Award in 2020.
Michele Shaul, PhD, is the Director of the Center for Latino Studies and a Professor of Spanish at Queens University of Charlotte, USA, where she led the Department of World Languages for 22 years. She directs the Latino Studies Project, a student/faculty research project documenting the stories of Latinos in the Charlotte region. She is co-founder and co-editor, with Kathryn Quinn-Sánchez, of the e-journal Label Me Latina/o (labelmelatin.com), and is involved in several projects that use art to address diversity and tolerance. She won the Hunter-Hamilton Love of Teaching Award in 2016.
