Dr Ajay Kumar Prajapati is currently working at the Department of Laboratory Medicine, Central Hospital, SWR, Hubli, Karnataka, India. He received his PhD in Microbiology in 2018 from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India, and is a researcher in clinical microbiology. He is a researcher with experience in the identification and characterization of clinical bacterial strains using classical culture-based methods and molecular methods. His main area of research is antimicrobial resistance. He has published many research papers and book chapters. Currently, he is contributing as an editor and reviewer to many national and international scientific journals. He has also contributed as a book editor. He is a member of many international organizations and societies of microbiology.
