How to Teach University Students to Make an Attractive TED-like Speech

Dr Ran Fan is a professional in the field of language acquisition dedicated to pursuing innovation in language teaching. She is proficient in three languages, Chinese (as a first language), English, and Japanese. Dr Fan’s students come from a variety of countries including China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Nepal. She teaches practical English and Japanese courses to Chinese university students, as well as middle/high school students. In addition, she also provides training for English, Chinese and Japanese proficiency exams, such as TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), IELTS (International English Language Testing System), Eiken (Test in Practical English Proficiency), TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication), HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test), and JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test). She currently teaches Business English courses to Japanese students, with a focus on English speech and conversation. Dr Fan’s research focuses on second language acquisition, drawing upon the latest theoretical foundations from neuroscience, psychology, and brain science to develop new curricula, textbooks, and teaching materials for language instruction.
