In analysing cognitive warfare, he covers key themes ranging from the move to ‘new’ terrorism, counterterrorism measures to self-determination. […] This book adds real value to the study of terrorism."
    - Dr David Lowe Senior Research Fellow, Leeds Law School, UK
  • "In counterterrorism efforts, public diplomacy can play a valuable role that most governments have yet to fully recognize. Aydemir understands this, and in this volume he addresses the key issues related to bridging counterterrorism and public diplomacy. His book should prove of great value to scholars and policymakers."
    - Philip Seib Professor Emeritus of Journalism and Public Diplomacy, University of Southern California, USA
  • "The book is a welcome contribution to this subject, which has heretofore not received the attention it demands. The book should be illuminating to policymakers, officials, and academics."
    - Paul K. Davis Professor of Policy Analysis, Pardee RAND Graduate School, USA
  • "Prof. Dr. Aydemir has integrated the scientific insights of psychological research with lessons from public diplomacy and military practice in a comprehensive analysis of the struggle against terror.
