This book describes physical effects caused by impurity atoms that localize electrons and phonons in nanosystems. It presents the first-ever application of the method of local perturbations to describe the physical properties of a wide range of nanosystems.
Georgiy I. Rashba
Georgiy I. Rashba received his PhD in Physics and Mathematics in 1999, and is currently the Head of the Department of Theoretical Physics at Kharkov State University, Ukraine. He is the author of 110 papers, and developed a theory of new types of waves in massive conductors and nanosystems with impurity atoms in a magnetic field.
