Author

John Martyn, a graduate of Cambridge University, has been re-appointed recently as a Principal Fellow in the School of Historical and Philosophical Studies at the University of Melbourne. His book on the Pope’s special concern for women, From Queens to Slaves, was published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing late in 2011, and a major work is nearing completion on a Gregorian illuminated manuscript, found by Martyn in the Potter Museum on the campus of Melbourne University, to be published in 2012 by Macmillan Art.
