Khalifa A. Alfadhel is an Assistant Professor of International Law at the University of Bahrain, and is a Board Member of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development. He holds an LLB from the University of Bahrain, and an LLM and PhD in international law from the University of Leeds, UK. He is a recognized Bahraini human rights defender, focused on the right to democracy in international law and its application in the Arab World and developing countries.
