Murat Kalelioğlu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Translation and Interpreting in the School of Foreign Languages at Mardin Artuklu University, Turkey. He has a comprehensible background in philology, teaching, and literature, and he has directed his research to semiotics as an inter/multi/trans-disciplinary approach. Since obtaining his PhD in Literature, he has combined his academic knowledge and experience with semiotics. His publications include The Theory of Signification: Semiotic Criticism and Literature (2017) and Analysis of Duha Koca Oğlu Deli Dumrul Narrative within the Framework of Literary Semiotics (2018).
