Dr Pravin Bhagwan Bhaskar is Assistant Professor of English at Shantarambhau Gholap Arts, Science and Gotirambhau Pawar Commerce College, Shivle, University of Mumbai, India. He is a recognized research supervisor at University of Mumbai. He received his MA in English and PhD from Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, India. He has been teaching English language and literature for the last 12 years. He has co-edited two books: “Caste, Culture and Identity in Dalit Writing” and “Diaspora: Challenges and Issues”. His major areas of interest in the field of academics and research are Dalit literature, Ambedkarite and Buddhist Studies, African-American literature, Subaltern Studies, and Diasporic literature. He has contributed several research papers to various international journals as well as books. He has presented several research papers at national and international level seminars and conferences.
