She received her doctorate in Biochemistry from the Department of Biochemistry of S.N. Medical College of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra, India. Her work focuses on the areas of bioremediation, nanobiocatalysts, isolation, purification, and characterization of proteins. She has published numerous journal articles, and is the co-author and editor of four books.
