Yuri Ustinovshikov
Yuri Ustinovshikov graduated from the Moscow Automechanical Institute as a specialist in foundry in 1958. In 1979, he received a PhD degree, before becoming a Professor in 1980. Having worked at the Izhevsk Physical-Technical Institute of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, first as the Head of the Laboratory of Phase Transformations and then as a Chief Research Fellow, he now works in the same position at the Udmurt Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He has authored four books and 195 articles in both Russian and international periodicals.
