The Formation of Intellectual Capital in Mexico

Dr Gerardo Reyes Ruiz is an Actuary. He trained at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Faculty of Sciences; he studied a Specialty in Econometrics at the Faculty of Economics-UNAM; he obtained a Master’s and PhD in Business Studies from the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Barcelona, Spain. Subsequently, he completed a postdoctoral stay at the Center for Economic, Administrative, and Social Studies (CIECAS) of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), Mexico. His work experience has been in public education institutions where he has taught undergraduate, graduate, master’s, and doctoral courses. He belongs to the National System of Researchers (SNI), Social Area, of Mexico (he has the appointment of National Researcher Level I). He is currently assigned to the Centro de Estudios Superiores Navales (CESNAV), Mexico.
