The Russian Special Military Operation in Ukraine from the Perspective of Jus ad Bellum

Themis Tzimas’ background spans teaching, research, and political activism. Currently serving as Adjunct Lecturer at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Hellenic Open University, both in Greece, he teaches courses on international and European law, natural law theories, international relations, law and disruptive technologies. As a postdoctoral researcher, his focus includes mapping the road to meta-humanism at the University of Crete, Greece. Themistoklis is also a lawyer for ELPIDA-HOME (ELPIDA HOME ASTIKI MI KERDOSKOPIKI ETAIREIA), offering legal counsel to asylum-seekers and refugees. His publications cover diverse topics such as artificial intelligence, human rights, and international law. He holds a PhD in Public International Law, with a particular interest in state sovereignty and its repercussions. Fluent in Greek and English, Themis Tzimas actively contributes to academic journals, conferences, and editorial roles, reflecting a holistic engagement with law, academia, and societal issues.
