Supriyo is passionate about wildlife conservation genetics and seeks to discover wildlife genetic secrets and population dynamics, providing crucial knowledge for conservation. He has received the Mohammed bin Zayed species conservation grant to help safeguard India’s red pandas.

Mukesh Thakur’s research seamlessly merges the fields of wildlife ecology and population genetics theory. His primary focus revolves around unravelling the complex relationship between genes and ecosystems, particularly in terms of population differentiation and genetic mechanisms of adaptation. His research also explores the genetic consequences of species reintroduction programs, and the role of genetic diversity in wildlife management and conservation initiatives.

Lalit Kumar Sharma is a scientist at the Zoological Survey of India, and has 15 years of experience as a wildlife biologist. He also educates aspiring conservationists and spearheads ground-breaking training programs across the Himalayan region.
