Huriye Yıldırım Çinar, who obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in International Relations from Akdeniz University, Türkiye, undertook her Master’s thesis at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Rennes, France. She was awarded her PhD by Kocaeli University, Department of International Relations, Türkiye. She currently holds the position of Co-Director at the TASAM Africa Institute, Istanbul, Türkiye. She has also published numerous articles and book chapters, and continues to contribute to the national and international press on African issues, as well as working on various projects.

Ferdi Güçyetmez undertook his studies in International Relations and Political Science at the University of Zurich and the University of Geneva. He was granted his Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Bern, Switzerland. He held the position of visiting researcher at Oxford University, where he conducted research into European politics. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Geopolitics and Political Policies in International Relations at a Swiss university.
