Her academic focus includes literature and feminist studies, and she is dedicated to fostering intellectual growth through teaching and research, while seeking opportunities to expand her impact in both academic and professional realms.

Dr G. Bhuvaneswari, Associate Professor of English at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Chennai, India, earned her PhD from the University of Hyderabad, India, and has over 16 years of experience. She has published 52 research papers, edited a book on Cultural Studies, and co-leads projects on reproductive pain funded by VIT and Durham University, UK. She received the 2023 ‘Best Academician Award’ and ‘Outstanding Researcher Award.’ Dr Bhuvaneswari currently serves as Associate Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Languages at VIT.
