This book integrates several research papers based on the technology of net-zero carbon emission (NZCE) materials, particularly in the context of India, and fills a major research gap for endorsing a low carbon construction that can further endure an eco-friendly and sustainable future. Major factors that significantly contribute towards a sustainable built environment by adopting low-carbon building materials, energy-saving technologies, and emission-free renewable energy sources are also discussed. It is anticipated that the themes and suggestions presented in this publication will increase the visibility of research being conducted in India on these crucial topics and give the construction industry insights into creating efficient net zero energy buildings that utilizes cost-effective technologies to reduce emissions throughout the lifecycle.
