Dr Kenan Aksu, born in Kastamonu, Türkiye, is a historian and political analyst. Following his secondary education at Abdurrahmanpaşa Lisesi, he earned a degree in history from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 1998 in Istanbul, Türkiye. He went on to complete a master’s degree in African and Asian History at SOAS, University of London, UK, in 2006, and later completed a PhD in politics department at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2015, with a thesis examining the EU’s impact on Türkiye. While teaching history in UK, he authored books in Türkiye on Enver Pasha and published works with Cambridge Scholars Publishing in the UK.

Professor Dr Süleyman Kızıltoprak, born in Istanbul, graduated from the Department of History at Boğaziçi University, Türkiye, in 1995. He earned a master’s degree from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Türkiye, in 1997 and completed his Ph.D. at Marmara University, Türkiye, in 2001. Professor Dr Kızıltoprak is the author of several notable books, including The Last Century of the Ottoman Empire in Egypt, British Occupation in Egypt: The Ottoman Empire’s Diplomatic Struggle, 1882-1887 and The Foreign Policy of Abdülhamid II and the Taşöz Operation.
