Natalia Millán Acevedo is a Doctor and Professor of Political Science at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. Over the past decade, she has focused her specialization on topics related to sustainable development, aiming to contribute to the reflection, policy, and analysis oriented toward building a more equitable world in harmony with nature. Her research focus has been on the political theory of sustainable development, policy coherence, the 2030 Agenda, and the necessary transformation of political actors and processes for community emancipation and social transformation. These themes have been central to her teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as in her academic research and work in transfer and innovation. She is the author of more than 50 key publications including journal articles, books, book chapters, monographs, and academic reports. She has conducted various research studies on public policies applied to sustainable development, publishing in prestigious journals. Furthermore, she has published several books, including Manual de Coherencia de Políticas para el Desarrollo (2018), co-authored with José Medina, and La Cooperación Madrileña Ante un Escenario de Cambios (2018), co-written with Luisa Gil Payno.
