Antonio Somoza López holds a bachelor’s degree and a Ph.D. in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Barcelona, Spain. He is currently an Associate Professor at the same university in the Faculty of Economics and Business. Previously, he has served as a professor at various other institutions in Spain, including the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the University of Vic, Pompeu Fabra University, and has collaborated for several years with the Open University of Catalonia. Additionally, he has been a visiting professor at the University of Vaasa (Finland) and in Stockholm (Sweden). His professional experience extends to the corporate sector, where he has worked in both accounting and private auditing, as well as in the public sector, specifically in public auditing and financial oversight (Government of Catalonia).
