Javad Majrouhi Sardroud (BSc, MSc, PhD) is an Associate Professor of Construction Engineering and Management, Department of Civil Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran. He did his PhD in Automated Management of Construction Activities, Kingston University London, UK, from 2008-2011. He has consulting, management, and coordinating experience, and his research interests include Automation in Construction and Building Information Modelling. He has a number of past publications, including ‘Building Information Modeling, An Implementation Guide in Construction Projects’ (2024).

Fateme Vafaei (BSc, MSc) has a Master’s degree in Construction Management and Engineering from Islamic Azad University, Iran. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Machine Learning and Smart Cities and Smart Buildings. He is passionate about integrating civil engineering with software engineering to develop innovative solutions for urban challenges.
