The book discusses the importance of renewal in religious education through an interfaith approach to creating a tolerant, inclusive, and pluralist society. In the context of the challenge of intolerance and radicalism in educational institutions, the book’s main objective is to formulate relevant models of interfaith religious education. Qualitative methodology was used, with Case Studies in three interfaith institutions in Indonesia: Interfidei Yogyakarta, ICRP Jakarta, and Jakatarub Bandung. The results showed that Interfaith Education, through structured interreligious dialogue, increased understanding among religious people and reduced negative prejudice. The book’s contribution to research provides a theoretical framework for religious pluralism in education, while its contribution to practice includes recommendations for curriculum updates and inclusive learning strategies. This book has had a far-reaching impact in promoting interreligious harmony and as a practical guide for governments and educational institutions in designing policies that support diversity.
After the Postsecular and the Postmodern
A vanguard of scholars asks what comes after the postsecular and postmodern in Continental philosophy of religion. This volume argues philosophy must liberate itself from theological norms and mutate into a new speculative practice to confront the challenges of our time.
