Dealing with issues ranging from Shakespeare to translation, postcolonial studies to comparative literature, the essays present a diversity of perspectives from theoretical, gendered, cultural and linguistic standpoints. The essays are selected from the papers presented at the fifth IDEA Conference at Atılım University.

Evrim Doğan Adanur is currently the Chair of the Department of English Language and Literature at Atılım University, Ankara, Turkey, where she teaches English Studies. Her research interests include Shakespeare studies, contemporary drama and postmodern literature. She received her BA from Hacettepe University, MA from American University (Washington, DC) and PhD from Ankara University.
