Particularly, it underscores the dangers these economies face and how those assets may be secured or securely operated. The book delineates the present insecurities in e-business and e-commerce as these emerging economies expand. As such, it will be of interest to governmental entities, businesses, researchers, economists, computer and Internet operatives, and indeed all participants in this technological world.

Professor Longy O. Anyanwu received an MSc from Howard University, USA, in 1982 and an EdD from Morgan State University, USA, in 1988. His research focuses on communication and cyber security, and he has published several books, magazine series, and over 70 journal and conference research publications in these areas. He is a Fellow and Distinguished Research Awardee of the Center for African-American Research Studies, Abuja, Nigeria; Member of Nigerian Computer Society (NCS); Fellow of the Computer Professionals of Nigeria (CPN); Member of International Association for the Promotion of Christian Higher Education (IAPCHE); and a Voting Member of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM). He also holds a fellowship at the Systems and Computer Science Department at Howard University, and was Head of the Department of Computer Science at Morgan State University. He is currently Head of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State of Nigeria.
