Engaging Beneficiaries for Development Participation

Nandita Dutta started her career as a public servant by joining the Bangladesh Civil Service in 1995. She served the government in various capacities in the field administration. She worked as Assistant Director and Deputy Director at the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre. She was responsible for training course coordination, curriculum development and leading sessions. On secondment, she joined the UNDP Bangladesh country office as Programme Analyst of Governance in 2005, where her work focussed on electoral program management, local justice systems, public administration and the development program for Chittagong Hill Tracts. She joined the University of Canberra as a professional staff member in 2012, and achieved a PhD in 2021. Her primary areas of interest include development program management, policy analysis, qualitative research, general administration, customer relations management, program evaluation, seminar presentations, and human resources management.
