Dr Lyola Thomas is the coordinator of the postgraduate programme at the Department of English at Kristu Jayanti College, Bangalore, India. Her research work focuses on Biblical research in the realms of literature and history with several published articles in this niche area. She is the editor of Kristu Jayanti Journal for Humanities and Social Sciences, a peer-reviewed research journal with e-ISSN, and Krysalis, a publication of creative expression. She is also an avid miniaturist, poet and short story writer, with several published creative works and books to her credit. Notably, her poem ‘A Funeral in my Mind’ was published by United Nations Academic Impact.
