Drawing on the Universal Chalcidoidea Database and numerous studies conducted in Turkey, this work presents a detailed account of the families, genera, and species that make up Turkey’s Chalcidoidea fauna. The book builds upon the foundational work of Dr Mikdat Doğanlar, a leading figure in Turkish Chalcidoidea research, who bequeathed his collection of over 12,000 Chalcidoidea specimens to Ankara’s Plant Protection Central Research Institute. Readers will find comprehensive information on distribution, hosts, associations, parasitoids, and noteworthy records. The book uncovers the existence of 19 families, 51 subfamilies, 269 genera, and 1,024 species of Chalcidoidea in Turkey, with Eulophidae, Pteromalidae, and Encyrtidae boasting the highest species count. A comprehensive list of Chalcidoidea species found in Turkey is also included in the book’s appendix.
