The food and textile industries play an important role in our daily lives; they are the core of our consumer society. Pinkie E. Zwane is Associate Professor of Textiles and Consumer Sciences at the University of Eswatini. Her research interests are textile product development using natural fibres, and textile quality management.

Solomon W. Kidane is Professor and Doctor of Engineering (DEng) in Food Process Engineering and Postharvest Technology. His research interest areas include modelling and optimization of food processes and formulations, food rheology and product development.

Lodrick M. Wangatia is Associate Professor of Textiles Science Engineering at the University of Eswatini. He has over 10 years of experience in teaching and researching textile materials and processing.

Sifiso Vilakati, PhD, is Lecturer of Statistics in the Department of Statistics and Demography at the University of Eswatini. His research focuses on the development of statistical methods for analysing clinical trials data with survival endpoints.
