Herbs and the Evolution of Human Societies

Yue Yue earned a BA from Paris-Sorbonne IV University and a Master’s degree from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, and holds a PhD in History and Civilizations from the National Institute of Oriental Languages in Paris. She received the Aguirre-Basualdo Award for a research project in Arts and Humanities from the Chancellery of the Universities of Paris Sorbonne. She is currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Brittany, France, and a member of the “Héritages et Constructions dans le Texte et l’Image” research group.

Molly Chatalic is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Brittany, France, and a member of the “Héritages et Constructions dans le Texte et l’Image research group”. Her field of research is related to aspects of American cultural studies (feminism, minority groups, counterculture, and religions) and Tibet (language, culture, literature, and religion). She is the author of Le Bouddhisme américain (2011).
