English in Non-English-Speaking Countries

Living in a modern world, and being surrounded by the newest advances in technology, today’s English language teachers see the process of learning English as completely different compared to when they learnt it themselves. In addition, linguists today proudly witness the different usage of the language that portrays the playful nature of English, supported by its creative speakers and users.

This book presents a collection of English language teachers’ practices and challenges of teaching English to their non-native English students, in which they portray their perceptions of the teaching-learning process. These experiences will provide the reader with a perspective on what contemporary teaching of this language in a non-English-speaking country looks like.
