This volume analyses the political activities of migrant groups and diasporas in their host countries and homelands. It brings together theoretical approaches and case studies which detail such groups’ objectives, agendas and styles, as well as associative organizations and links with political parties.

Dr Maria Eugenia Cruset holds a PhD in History from the University of the Basque Country and a Master’s in International Relations from the National University of La Plata, Argentina. She is a Postdoctoral Fellow of the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (National Council for Scientific and Technical Research), Argentina. She directs the Free Chair of Irish Culture at the National University of La Plata, and is a Professor and Researcher at the Catholic University of La Plata, Argentina.
