This volume discusses how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected people’s working environment, learning experiences, and personal lives in countless ways. As such, it discusses how a better understanding of the virus’s exponential growth has led to more effective policy making and ultimately lower infection rates. It also considers online learning, workplace changes, and the status of furloughed employees. The book also considers the pandemic’s impact on specific groups such as Bedouins, LGBT individuals, people in romantic relationships, and victims of sexual abuse as a function of lockdowns.

Bat Katzman earned her PhD from Hebrew University, Israel, and is presently a Lecturer at Kinneret College, Israel, where she heads the program for education and community. Her research focus is social and emotional aspects of learning and teaching. She has received a number of awards for her research achievements, including one from the Israeli parliament.

Tal Harel holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology from Bar-Ilan University, Israel. She specializes in organizational research, gender in organizations, employees wellbeing, and work-life integration. She is a Lecturer at Ariel University, Israel.

Ariela Giladi received her PhD in Education from Ariel University, Israel, where she presently lectures. She is a postdoctoral researcher at the HBSC-Israel, an International Research Program on Adolescent Well-Being and Health, at Bar Ilan University, Israel.

Meni Koslowsky received his PhD in Psychology from Columbia University. His areas of research include personnel selection, social power, and methodology. He has written over 100 peer-reviewed articles and is the author of five books.
