The Role of Non-Governmental Organizations in Women’s Empowerment in Saudi Arabia

This book explores the dynamics of non-governmental organisations in Saudi Arabia, especially those that offer services for women or aim to empower women. The empowerment process in Saudi has its own unique history because it deals with cultural and traditional particulars. In order to succeed, women’s empowerment has to take unconventional, gradual, and lengthy paths which are very interesting to observe and document.
