Nagwa Kassabgy is an instructor in the English Language Institute at the American University in Cairo. She is involved in teacher training and has done research on English as a Foreign Language, English for Academic Purposes, reading, vocabulary acquisition, and teaching grammar. She is a published author and editor.

Amani Elshimi teaches in the Department of Rhetoric and Composition at The American University in Cairo. She has research interests in WAC/WID and undergraduate research. She is active as a peer trainer on techniques of experiential and community-based learning. Her background is in literature, TEFL and Rhetoric and Writing Studies.
